FENWICK ISLAND
Fenwick Island is the southernmost of Delaware's beach communities and is rich in history of its own. One of the original Transpeninsular Line Markers is here, next to the historic Fenwick Island Lighthouse. Local sites: Fenwick Island Lighthouse, Transpeninsular Marker.

How to Get To Fenwick Island
FROM
PHILADELPHIA AND NORTH:
Take I-95 South to Rte. 1,
just below Wilmington, DE. Follow Route 1 to Rte.13 South. Follow Route 13
(becomes Rte.1 by-pass) to Rte. 113 (at Dover). Follow Route 113 to Rte. 1 (at
Milford.) Continue south on Route 1 about 40 miles.
FROM
WASHINGTON, DC AND WEST:
Take Route 50 (301) East to
Rte. 404. Follow Route 404 East to Rte. 16. Take Route 16 to Rte. 1. Turn Right
onto Route 1. Follow Route 1 south about 30 miles.
FROM
VIRGINIA (Norfolk/Virginia Beach) AND SOUTH:
Take Route 13 North to
Rte.113. Follow Route 113 North to Rte. 54. Take Route 54 East to Fenwick
Island.
FROM
CAPE MAY FERRY:
After leaving Ferry, Turn
Right, at first road, turn Left, follow road straight until you get to the light
at Route 1, Turn Left on Route 1, and follow south to Fenwick Island.
