and Info

REHOBOTH BEACH/DEWEY BEACH
The largest of the three Delaware seashore areas, has been popular since the 1870s when it was a Methodist Camp meeting site. More recently, Rehoboth--a Biblical word meaning "room enough"--has become known as the Nation's Summer Capital because of the large influx of Washington-area visitors. Sun and surf combine with the boardwalk, specialty boutiques, unusual restaurants and varied entertainment to create special activities throughout the spring, summer and fall.
Dewey Beach is just south of Rehoboth Beach and lies between the Atlantic Ocean and Rehoboth Bay, where visitors enjoy sailing, boating and windsurfing. Local sites: Anna Hazzard Museum, Rehoboth Art League, Rehoboth Beach Memorial Bandstand, Cape Henlopen State Park.
